Blakes of The Hollow recently announced that they would be releasing a bottled in bond version of Powers Whiskey. This release was distilled in the Old Johns Lane Distillery, before it closed, back in 1964. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: center;padding:10px\" src=\"https:\/\/thewhiskeycompanion.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/JohnLaneBIBBox.jpg\" width=\"600\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>It was bottled at 40% in the 80&#8217;s after aging (16yrs) in cask 4661 but remained dormant in the screwcap bottle that is being sold since.
